Renting mini-busses and coaches is what we do, but the real question is – what do you want to do?
We have minibuses and coaches to suit all different types of occasions, whether it be: corporate, weddings, sporting events, tours, airport transfers etc. No job is too big or small, and our price-match guarantee means you simply can’t beat Blogs! Manchester is a buzzing hive of commerce and industry, a hub for global travel and the city of sound and football – so whether you’re red or blue, you know what to do.
Meet our Fleet
Our current fleet of pristine vehicles currently stands at 110, and are at most only 5 years-old (2 years-old on average). Our vehicles range from 6-16-seater mini-buses to 30-seater midi-coaches, all the way up to large 60-seat coaches. All of our vehicles are regularly serviced, and are cleaned professionally, so you can have the peace of mind that whichever vehicle you choose will be reliable and spotless.
With a large number of smaller vehicles available, this form of group travel can prove not only cost-effective, but ideal if the location has limited parking availability or is difficult to reach. Don’t let those country lanes stand between you and your plans!
When you’re responsible for placing a group people, whether it be friends, family, colleagues or clients into a rental vehicle with a company-driver, you want to be 100% sure that you can trust the person behind the wheel.
Our experienced and professional drivers have all been DBS checked and have acquired their Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) having completed the rigorous and thorough training. Without a doubt, you can trust our drivers in character and in competence, to get you and the rest of your group to your destination, in the most attentive and efficient fashion. Furthermore, we understand the importance of first-impressions, so our drivers will always be clad Orrell Coach and Minibus Hire uniform, making them easily recognisable and visibly professional. Whilst our drivers wear the Orrell Coach and Minibus Hire logo, you can be sure that you’ll receive nothing short of the best service. You’re in safe hands with us.
The boring (but important) stuff
We’re proud to have been a member of the United Rentals Group for over 30 years and of course are registered with the British Vehicle Renting and Leasing Association (BVRLA). As a company, we’re reliable, licensed and fully trust-worthy.
If you’re planning on renting a vehicle to be self-driven, you’ll need to ensure that the designated driver passes the following criteria for the relevant vehicle type:
A category D1 driving license must be obtained for any COMN or CMNM mini-busses. This category of license will be automatically obtained within any license gained before January 1st 1997. Any persons whose was license gained after this date will be required to apply for a D1 category license. The minimum age for this application is 21 years old. Thus, anyone hoping to drive a vehicle of this type must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
Similarly, for any IVAR/MR vehicles, the driver must again be at least 21 years of age and have held a valid driving license for at least one year.
For FVMR, SVAR/SVMR vehicles the driver must be at least 25 years of age and have held a valid driving license for at least three years.
Any non-EU citizens may only drive vehicles with a maximum of 9 seats. (IVAR, FVMR & SVAR category vehicles)
Our Environmental Promise
We at Orrell Coach and Minibus Hire are just as concerned about the current-state of environmental well-being as you are, and as a large-vehicle rental service we understand that we must be not just responsible, but pro-active in the way in which we deal with environmental-related challenges. That’s why all of our vehicles are compliant with Euro 6 engine specifications, making our vehicles the most environmentally efficient in the UK. Furthermore, we continue to strive towards being carbon-neutral by 2025, and have seen our emissions fall continuously over the last five years. Group-travel remains to be one of the most environmentally-friendly ways to travel, with CO2 emissions measured in Kg per passenger per journey.
